When I was 7 years old, I discovered my first real book 'without any pictures'. It was the biography of Hellen Keller. Reading her story made a profound impact on me in several ways. I was flabbergasted that a book could take me on such an incredible journey, and equally astounded at the inspiration I felt.

In that pivotal moment, my love of communication and for leadership were born.

I have a deep passion for writing and language, and the way it can be used to uplift, mobilize and have a deep and lasting impact its audience.

I am also fascinated by the way the new modes of communication are changing the way we work and communicate. Marshall Mcluhan was famous for saying "the medium is the message," and the emerging social mediums are completely changing how the world connects and communicates.
