Workshops are designed to certify or recertify seasoned instructors in a particular group exercise discipline. Each workshop develops the curriculum through the following three segments:
1. Theory: instructors learn the history of the practice, its benefits, how to teach the discipline safely and ergonomically, its specific terminology, and about the latest trends and research.
2. Applied practice: each movement is broken down into its smallest components, and instructors learn not only how to execute the movements correctly, but how to cue and coach their participants to move in the most precise and effective way possible.
3. Choreography: the best way to learn is through experience! Each workshop concludes with a 45-minute choreography that allows instructor to experience the discipline from a student's point of view, practice the new material, get inspired, and walk away with a pre-choreographed class they can immediately put into practice.
